We will have so many books to choose from, free bookmarks, and a gift wrapping station. Don’t miss out and make sure you are here Thursday and Friday this week so you get your free books! This month is Youth Hope month, where we bring awareness to the youth homelessness crisis we have in America. Many young folks, usually around 4 million a year run away or become homeless because of family conflict, they’re kicked out by their guardians, they’re running from abuse, they have issues with friends at school, or financial struggles. Show your support by wearing Green TOMORROW. Let’s show everyone that there is hope and support out there.

November is recognized as Youth Homelessness, Outreach, Prevention, and Education or Youth HOPE Month! During this month, we will be bringing awareness of the facts about youth homelessness and young folks who have or have thought about running away, and sharing resources on how we can support people we know who have gone through this! Youth homelessness affects more than 4 million young people between the ages of 13 and 25 every year. Stay tuned for more facts and ways we can help!
Tonight is the school Halloween dance! Doors open at 6:30 PM. You will need $5, a signed permission slip, and your student ID card if you have it. You may pick up a dance permission slip in the main office during your lunch time, or after school. We will not hand out permission slips during class time.

The boys soccer team had their end of the season match yesterday against Duniway. Coming out on top with a 5-3 win with a hat-trick from Lalo, an absolute beauty of a bicycle kick by Capi Peyton, and a goal from Jr. Amazing key saves by Austin. Ending the season with 10 wins 1 tie and 1 loss. Coach Aguilar is thankful for such a great and talented group of players, Cris, Yanuel, Christopher, the Angels, Gerardo, Adrian, Ashton, Weston, Nico, Miguel, Carlos, Marco, Marcos, Jayden, JJ, Isael, Isaac, Jacob and manager Nathaniel. The boys soccer team played Cascade yesterday. Marco and Angel scored a goal each, great performances from goalkeeper Austin, Gerardo, Peyton, Marcos, JJ, Lalo, Jr, Jayden and the rest of the team, their a team with lots of heart and have shown throughout the season. Couldn’t ask for a better group of players we truly love them Today they end the season against Duniway, here at Patton with kickoff at 4:00pm. Go mustangs.

Wear marigolds, neon colors or dress like a skeleton. Wednesday the 30th is Halloween Class color day. 6th Wear Black, 7th Wear Purple, 8th Wear Orange. Finally Thursday the 31st is Halloween. You can wear your Halloween costume as long as it follows school dress code, doesn’t include a mask, gory stuff, no fake weapons, and no blow up costumes.

Your mustangs came out on top lead by two interceptions by Dylan Walters; touchdowns return by kick off and fumble return by Tanner Rauch as well as an awesome pass caught by the “leagues best” tight end Bryson Burdick and Jack Jack Ravia caught first touchdown of the season thrown by Dylan Walters! Go Mustangs!! Your Mustangs are now 6-0 heading into the cross town rival game vs Duniway next Wednesday!!

Extra points if you can get your families to wear orange! The most important thing to remember is that we are celebrating kindness, acceptance, and inclusion tomorrow. Every day is a new opportunity to wake up and ask yourself, how am I going to be kind today? How am I going to include others in my games or at lunch today? How can I show others that they are wonderful just the way they are? That’s what Unity Day is all about. See you in your orange tomorrow!

Good morning Mustangs! In honor of national bullying prevention month, we are going to be celebrating Unity Day THIS WEDNESDAY! We’ll all be wearing orange—if you have orange shirts or pants, that’s great, but it could also be an orange hair tie, belt, or bracelet. Leadership will be running some trivia at lunch where you can earn an orange bracelet! Unity Day is about everyone being kind, including others, and accepting that people are different and that’s great. Your teachers have all the information about the day and will be sharing that information with your class this Tuesday.

It was a big night in Lebanon for our 8th football players, with a 56-24 win over the Warriors. The team brought home a win behind several outstanding performances. Ballin Bradley scored 5 touchdowns on the ground and Crew the Crusader scored 2 more through the air. Caleb was kicking like a mustang to add 10 extra points on the board. And In Gus we Trust, as he put one more TD on the board. Great game hit squad!
The boys soccer team pull off a 3-2 win yesterday over Cascade, in a very tough match. However with goals from Lalo, Jayden and JJ they were able to get the result. Keep working hard boys and keep on thriving for more.

Congrats to the 7th grade football team! They welcomed a tough Sweet Home team to town and sent them packing as your Mustangs won 64-0! The Mustangs scored on just about every way you can! Touchdown passes, runs; defensive interceptions; punt returns; kick off returns! They scored a lot and often; and everyone played! Thank you to all those who came and cheered for us!! The boys soccer team, came back home yesterday with a 7-1 win over North Marion. Brilliant performance by all the boys. Starting with goalkeeper Austin who had some key safes, Jacob who scored 3, Lalo who scored 2 and Jayden who scored 2 with an absolutely beautiful bicycle kick. Beautiful work boys.
8th grade volleyball played against Cascade yesterday. Way to go B team for bringing home a win! Angely had 2 aces Raelyn had 4 aces Alayna had 2 aces Delyla had 2 aces, 1 assist and 1 kill Brooke had 1 ace, 1 block and 4 kills Jillian had 1 ace and 4 assists Paisley had 2 aces and 1 assist Way to go Mustangs!!
Last night’s game between the 8th grade footballers did NOT disappoint. After a slow start to the first half, the Mustangs flipped a switch. Bradley juked and jived his way to the end zone to put the Stangs on the board. Then, Gus forced a fumble on defense to set up the Stangs for another offensive score, “In Gus we Trust”. As the score tightened up, Crew the Crusader saved the night with a pick 6 and sealed the deal. As time ran out the Stangs proved their toughness .
Great job Cross Country runners! Yesterday Alexa, Willa, Nora, Maddie, Jojo, Aleyah, Hadara, Dafne, River and Andria pushed themselves to obtain an overall 4th place for the girl’s teams. Alexa crushed it by placing 8th place out of 115 runners! Owen showed great perseverance, and was our Patton lead runner. Titan, Malakai, Maddie, Jojo, Andria and River all received their personal best times! Great job pushing yourselves through a tough course!

Monday is Patton Pride day. 6th graders wear white, 7th grade wear blue, and 8th graders wear black. Tuesday is Tie Dye. Wednesday is Western wear. Thursday is Sports themed. Your boys soccer team opened up the season with two wins with “a” team winning 5-3 with goals from Angel V, Eduardo V and a hat trick by Jacob B . “B” team took a big win as well with an 8-0 result with goals from Marcos P, 2 goals from Jose M and Jayden G, and a hat trick by Marco P with Jacob B keeping clean sheet. Good work by our boys soccer team.
7th grade B team played 3 sets last night and won all 3 sets! Ava H. Had 19 aces. Eloise had 5 aces. Good job ladies!
