Gretchen Sorenson won first place with “Why?” in the Middle School Art category
Ellen McMillan (pictured) was chosen as the Grand Prize winner in the Art category for her drawing, “Out of Ashes.”  Ellen will be able to travel this summer to Washington D.C. to visit the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum.

The winners will be recognized at an awards luncheon at Portland’s Multnomah Athletic Club on May 1.

Winning submissions will be on display at the Oregon Jewish Museum and Center for Holocaust Education, located at 1953 NW Kearney St., from April 28 – May 15, 2016.
